With a strong work ethic and ability to execute and excel, Steven Starks, has quickly positioned himself as the “Go to Guy” in the Film Industry. Mr. Starks started his film career by working behind the scenes for feature films and television shows such as The Hunger Games, TV One’s, “The Rickey Smiley Show” and most recently the Own Network’s “Green Leaf.” Mr. Starks has a passion for elevating the culture and relevance of minority higher learning institutions. He created the 80’s Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Music Video in 2017 that went viral. The video received over 100,000 views and was featured on several prominent social media platforms like Watch the Yard.

With his experience as a director, producer and editor, Starks Films has grown into a full service production company under his leadership.
